30 June 2024 Rocca Sillana da Montecastelli a S. Dalmazio.

Gathering hour 7:00 parking from Badia to Camaiore hour 7:10 parking from Bocchette and with own resources until to Montecastelli. Leaving from Montecastelli goes down in the river Pavone where we will meet the florentine mines (not visible inside). 

We will cross the river Pavone that in this period is not difficult. After the ford begins a steep climb of about 300 meters with exposed stretches unprotected but easy to walk. At the end of the ascent is the Rocca Sillana. Visit the Rocca and go down to the village of San Dalmazio.
